Stamm Software ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Plushify service ("Service"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of data to provide and improve our Service:
a) Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you create a Plushify account, we collect your name, email address and a hashed password. This information is required to create your account, authenticate you, and secure your access to the Service.
- Payment and Subscription Information: When you subscribe to a "Pro" plan, our third-party payment processors (like Stripe and PayPal) will collect your payment details (such as credit card information and billing address). We do not store or process your full payment card details ourselves. We only receive a confirmation of your payment and information necessary to manage your subscription status (e.g., plan type, renewal date).
- Communications: When you contact us for support or with inquiries, we may collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
b) Information We Collect When You Use the Service
-
User Project Data: When you are logged into your account, we
collect and store the files and data you work with. This includes:
- 3D models and image files you upload.
- Sewing pattern data you generate, including project settings, seam placement, piece names, colors, markings, and other modifications. This data is securely stored on our servers and linked to your account to allow you to save your progress and access and modify your projects across different sessions.
- Automatically Collected Technical Data: When you use our website, we may automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and other usage data (e.g., pages visited, time spent on the site). This data helps us monitor and improve our service, enhance user experience, and resolve technical issues.
-
Cookies & Local Storage: We use essential cookies and local
storage technologies. We do not use these to create marketing profiles
or track you across other websites. Our uses include:
- Session Cookies: To maintain your session and keep you logged into your account.
- Local Storage / Cache: To store a local cache of your projects, which helps the application load faster.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain Your Account: To authenticate you, manage your access, and link your projects to your profile.
- To Provide the Service: We use your User Project Data (3D models, patterns) to provide the core functionality of Plushify, allowing you to create, save, access, print, and export your patterns from your account.
- To Process Payments & Manage Subscriptions: We use your payment information (handled by third-party providers) to process your "Pro" plan subscription and manage your plan status.
- To Communicate with You: To respond to your inquiries, send subscription receipts, provide customer support, and send important service-related notices.
- To Improve Our Service: The automatically collected data helps us monitor and improve the functionality, performance, and security of our website and services.
- To Comply with Legal Obligations: We may process your information when necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with trusted third parties only in the following circumstances:
- Infrastructure & Data Storage Providers: We use Cloudflare to power our application, provide security, and securely store your data. This includes your account information and all User Project Data (3D models, patterns, etc.). We use Amazon Web Services to automatically send transactional emails, such as when verifying your account or resetting your password.
- Payment Providers: We share necessary transaction data with third-party providers like Stripe and PayPal solely for processing subscription payments. These providers have their own privacy policies and are responsible for handling your payment data securely.
- Legal Authorities: We may share your information with legal authorities when required by law, such as to comply with a legal obligation, respond to a court order, or protect our rights and the safety of others.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your account information and User Project Data are stored on Cloudflare's secure infrastructure. We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach, we will promptly notify affected users as required by applicable laws.
5. International Data Transfers
As our services are available worldwide, your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside of the European Union (EU), including the United States, where our third-party service providers (e.g., Cloudflare, Stripe, PayPal) are located.
We ensure that adequate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, for any transfers of data to countries outside of the EU. By using our services, you acknowledge this transfer, storage, and processing.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
